• Graduated as professor and performer from ENA. Havana, Cuba (1987).

• Studied at the “Amadeo Roldan” Conservatory of Music in Havana, Cuba (1984).

• Studied at the Conservatory of Music “Alejandro García Caturla” in Havana, Cuba (1982).

• Formers teacher include, Clara Nicola, Martha Campo, Aldo Rodriguez, Rey Guerra and Miguel Bonachea.

• Received master classes by Teachers Leo Brouwer, David Russell, Costas Cotsiolis, Wolfgang Lendle, Robert Aussel, Antonio Rodríguez, Joaquin Clerch, Ichiro Suzuki, Paolo Paolini, Victor Pellegrini.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

• Member of "Dúo Bona Fide" (2011-Present).

• Director of guitar orchestra and arranger (1994-present).

• With his wife, he has performed in many cities of Cuba and the United States and performed on national Radio of Cuba. Performed at the 1st Festival "Identidades" in Havana, Cuba 2012.

• Director of the Guitar Ensemble of Havana, Cuba (2002-2013).

• Director of the Cuban Youth Guitar Orchestra (2002-2013).

• Led the " Youth Guitar Orchestra" in the International Festival “Leo Brouwer” (2002 & 2004).

• Member of the 1st" Ensemble de Guitarras de La Habana", under the direction of Maestro José A. Pérez-Puentes (1988 – 1991).

INSTRUCTIONS

-He has actually opened his own studio " Bona Fide Music Studio" with his wife Lazara Diaz, located at 294 Ferry st, Newark, New Jersey, US.

• Head of the guitar department for 22 years at the Conservatorio “Alejandro García Caturla“, Havana, Cuba (1991- 2013).

• Music professor for 16 years at the Russian Embassy of Cuba (1997 – 2013).

• Master classes and Seminar at the 'Music Conservatory of Luanda', Angola (2010)

• Professor of Guitar, Piano, Theory and Solfege at the “Art International courses” of (C.N.E.A.R.T.), as well as advisor professor at this Institution.

• First CD 2017 "The Freedom Eagle" with Duo Bona Fide, produced by the 8 times Latin Grammy nominated and winner Yalil Guerra.

• First Prize in the two "National Guitar Festivals" of Cuba (1984 and 1986).
